Update: Caroline Daur’s inaugural collection with M.A.C., initially only available overseas, is set to launch in the United States next month. For detailed information, refer to the end of this slideshow.
German blogger Caroline Daur commenced sharing her outfit photos on social media during her college years – a commonplace practice in our #ootd culture. However, in just a few short years, she skyrocketed to over a million followers on Instagram, building a résumé that rivals that of a top model rather than a homegrown Instagram star.
Since her discovery, the 22-year-old has graced the covers of Vogue Japan, L’officiel Germany, and Grazia Italy. She has featured in a Dior campaign, collaborated with MAC to design her own signature lipstick, and partnered with Levi’s to create a trucker jacket. Additionally, she has walked in six Dolce & Gabbana runway shows and opened Rebecca Minkoff’s show during the previous fall’s New York Fashion Week.
Despite her impressive career, Daur’s beauty routine is refreshingly approachable. She takes pride in doing her own makeup when not working and has a few tricks up her sleeve for achieving a red carpet-ready look in 10 minutes or less.
During her recent trip to the United States, where she attended Art Basel in Miami last month, Daur invited us to witness how she effortlessly pulled off five distinct looks in five days. Additionally, she shared all the products needed to recreate these looks yourself.
